PATHOLOGY
Vulvovaginitis is a condition of microbial infection of vulva and/or vagina of women caused mainly by:
- Fungal microbe (Candida Albicans) causing vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC)
- Bacterial microbe (Gardnerella Vaginalis) causing bacterial vaginosis (BV)
These two conditions cause different symptoms like inflammation, discharge and itching
MODE OF ACTION
Thanks to its patented proprietary formula that combine three major ingredients: Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE), Olive Leaf Extract (OLE) and Tea Tree Oil (TTO) that work together synergistically to treat VVC & BV and accompanying symptoms
- GSE with the optimal concentration has inhibitory effect on albicans which treat VVC
- GSE with the optimal concentration has inhibitory effect on vaginalis which treat BV
- OLE with optimal concentration has antifungal effect higher than MIC & MFC against fluconazole-resistant albicans which treat VVC
- TTO with the optimal concentration to dramatically increase susceptibility of fluconazole-resistant albicans to treatment with fluconazole
COMPOSITION
Active: Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE), Olive Leaf Extract (OLE) and Tea Tree Oil (TTO)
Other ingredients: Paraffinum Liquidum, Propylene glycol, Cetostearyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, White beeswax, Triethanolamine, Methyl paraben, Propyl paraben, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
USES
- Treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC)
- Treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV)
- Symptomatic treatment of inflammation, discharge and itching caused by vulvovaginitis
- Treatment of vulvovaginitis resistant to chemical treatments
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Gynomix® is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the formula or to any of its ingredients

- Do not use it if tube seal is broken
- Keep out of reach of children
- Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds, and mucous membranes
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Apply a thin layer of Gynomix ® cream twice daily or as directed by physician
